Facilities

Carbondale Farms is located in a park-like setting on 80 acres at the base of the foothills of Northern California in the midst of the beautiful and historic Gold Country.

We took great care to turn this picturesque, rural setting into a well-designed, safe, enriched environment for horses.
Our breeding facilities include: large foaling stalls, a mare hotel, a collection and insemination area and laboratory.
Our Foaling Barn houses spacious 12' x 24' foaling stalls fully equipped with web cam and the latest technology for the best care of mare and foal during the foaling process.  
The Mare Hotel features a flower garden and fountain amidst 24' x 24' partially covered, lighted pens.

Our state-of-the-art laboratory was designed to facilitate the distribution and storage of frozen semen, semen evaluation, and processing for cooled transported semen or on-site insemination.
