Accord II, Landgraf I
Acros 3 owned by Elizabeth Feeds in Elizabeth, Colorado and ridden by
Alex Welbon is a beautiful, bold, personable, talented jumper. This equine
charmer was imported from Europe by Rudy Leone in 2003 as a seven year
old. Acros 3 entered the United States a champion. As a five year old
he was reserve champion at the European Finals and at six he won the European
Show Jumping Finals.
Acros 3's sire, Accord II, won his stallion test with a score of 138 in the riding portion and 149 in jumping. Accord II has produced more than 40 approved stallions. Acros 3 shares his lineage with the likes of Broere VDL Atlantic (Six Year Old Jumping Champion at the 1999 Bundeschampionate), Action Hero, Acorado, Antaeus, Alboretto, Ars Vivendi, All in One and As di Villagana.
Landgraf I, Acros 3's dam's sire became the most important sire of showjumpers
in the twentieth century having sired the most money winning showjumping
offspring in the world. There are currently 340 broodmares by Landgraf
I registered in the Holsteiner stud book. Over 75% of these champion mares
are in the Head Stud Book and 70 have been awarded State Premium.
