Alpha-Farm's Dornenprince,
grandson of the king of dressage Donnerhall, received a premium award
from the Oldenburg Verband at his foal inspection. He was approved as
a breeding stallion by the Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar in 2004.
During the reign of the Donnerhall Dynasty, the king combined tremendous success in both sport and in breeding. Highlights of Donnerhall's illustrious career are his victory at the 1994 German Dressage Championships, the individual bronze and team gold at the 1994 World Equestrian Games of The Hague, the 1997 European Championships in Verden and again at the World Equestrian Games in Rome. With more than 50 approved sons, an uncountable number of St. Pr. St. mares and many high priced auction horses, Donnerhall is one of the most dominant dressage sires in the world.
Dornenkonig, the sire of Dornenprince, finished his 100 Day test in 1996 with a dressage index of 123 points, jumping index of 117 points and an overall score of 123 points. He has received a dressage breeding index of 146 points.
