Only a tiny percentage of races anywhere in the world are 1-1/2 miles or more. Prussian Blue, an outstanding turf performer, won distance stakes and allowances in France, England, and the USA. Prussian Blue is big, classically beautiful, and structurally correct. He has the elegance of a champion hunter, the endurance for eventing and the élan of a world-class jumper.

Polish Navy by the incomparable sire of sires, Danzig, and out of one of the most exquisite female families of modern time, was made to be a sire. That impression was cemented when Polish Navy's second crop included the Kentucky Derby and Travers winner Sea Hero. On the heels of this success Polish Navy was bought by breeders in Japan where he sired six crops before being repatriated back to the US.



Mr. Prospector's bare race record did not reflect the flashes of brilliance he showed, such as when he set a track record at Gulfstream Park in 1973 that stood unequaled until his great grandson Artax matched it in the 1999 Breeders' Cup Sprint. Mr. Prospector is an outstanding sire in every way, he topped the leading sires in North America twice, in 1987 and 1988. He also topped the leading sires of two year olds several times and has been the leading broodmare sire in North America for several years. Sire of 169 Stakes winners, Mr. Prospector remains the all time leading sire of Stakes winners.
